MORE SONGKRAN SNAPS

Here are a couple more pictures from the Songkran splashing going on right outside my condo. Obviously you need to take precautions if you're going to be using your digital camera anywhere near water. I wrapped a plastic bad around my digital SLR, made a hole in one corner and wrapped some elastic bands around the lens. You can't do too much damage by getting water on the lens and it can make some pretty nice pictures. The damage is done if water gets into the electronics so be careful.
Saying that it was really hard to get the young girl to squirt her water pistol at me, let alone directly at the lens. She did eventually. The kids here were also really respectful of the crazy farang taking pics and wanting to join in with the water throwing. I guess that comes from being almost the only farang in this particular soi.
