IN DUBAI

I'm in Dubai right now for a two-day conference and a business meeting. I know this is going to sound crazy but it feels hotter here than Bangkok although it's not. It's just a different, less humid, kind of heat. The flights (two of them - Bangkok to Doha and then Doha to Dubai on Qatar Airways) were fine, smooth and both on time. The second was one of the shortest flights I have ever been on - just 42 minutes.
I hope to write more tomorrow about the reason why I am in Dubai. I'm working of course and will be rubbing shoulders (and interviewing) some of Asia's top business leaders. It should be fun.
