NETWORKING BREAKFAST

I had breakfast with the British Ambassador to Thailand this morning - along with around 40 other members of the British Chamber of Commerce in Thailand. These events are great for networking and I cannot really recommend them strongly enough. You meet some really interesting people, make excellent contacts and learn new ideas.
The event this morning was held in the ambassador's residence. It's the first time I've been there and it's an amazing and impressvive place. I would describe it as being almost colonial although Thailand was never colonised. It's an oasis of British tranquility in the centre of chaotic Bangkok. It was a truly memorable and calming start to what promises to be a busy day.
