THAI MEDIA AND AWARDS

I was once told that Thai publishers rarely enter global or regional contests because of the inevitable loss of face by not winning. Despite my sometimes negative comments here there are some good magazines in Thailand that would do well in such events, if only they (a) knew about the events, and (b) bothered to enter them.
One of my goals for this year is to enter my own magazine in awards, both for design, content and management. I'm not saying we're good but if we don't enter then we don't even stand a chance of winning. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
