ONLY BELIEVE WHAT YOU CHOOSE
It always make me smile how government departments herald the findings of some global studies yet criticise others.
Last month Thailand ranked 105 of 118 contries in the Global Peace Index, and a spokesman from the Foreign Ministry disputed the findings of the low ranking by saying: "Thailand is in top place for the World's Best Tourist Country surveyed by Swedish-based Travel News Magazine. Even people from countries ranked high in terms of peace come to Thailand. That means we are peaceful ..".
You pays your money ... right ? Perhaps somewhere there is a study which reveals The Bangkok Bugle is the best blog in Thailand about the media and publishing industry written by someone called Andrew?

I have often marveled at the Thai propensity to determine that if A=B and B=C, therefore A=Q. I suppose Thailand is not alone in seeking to justify itself in its own eyes, but sometimes the methods are just breathtaking.
