MISTAKES HAPPEN

The fantastic Regret The Error website reported earlier this week about the U.S. newspaper that had to publish a correction following a typing error. This wasn't any normal error - it was on their front page masthead!
Valley News managed to become Valley Newss on Monday of this week. The error was corrected with the following message from the editor. "Readers make have noticed that the Valley News misspelled its own name on yesterday's front page. Given that we routinely call on other institutions to hold themselves accountable from their mistakes, let's just say for the record: We sure feel silly."

That's a cracker. Even worse than a headline. That's a really odd one 'cos that's a part of a template that in theory never changes. Maybe they did a redesign or something.
