NATION OPTS FOR ADWORDS

You might notice The Nation is using Google Adwords to try and drive visitors to its site. A few times last week I noticed ads appearing here and on other Thailand blogs that use Adsense, and the ad is appearing again today.
Given all the recent news about Thailand (and the fact that searches for "Bangkok" have jumped something like 140 per cent in the last three weeks) you would have thought their stories alone should be driving more visitors to their website?

All I can say is thank goodness for Firefox and the AdBlock Plus add-on. In fact, using AdBlock makes even the Bangkok Post website almost readable :)
