THAI MAGAZINES: AN ITALIAN IMPORT

Casaviva is one of only a few non-English magazines that have been licensed for the Thai market. Published in Italy by the Modadori Group, the home and living magazine sells an average of 236,341 copies in its home country.
In Thailand
Casaviva is published by Inspire Entertainment, one of the Kingdom's major magazine publishing companies, and sells for 95 baht. The Thai edition claims to have a circulation of 100,000 copies per month.
The October edition of
Casaviva in Thailand runs to a chunky 196 glossy pages of which around 36 are advertising. There are a number of home-grown magazines in this sector as well as several other titles that have been licensed from overseas. Many Thai people have a fascination with anything foreign which is why, I assume, this magazine works well here.
