STILL ROOM FOR MORE MAGAZINES
Late last month Inspire Entertainment, publishers of the likes of Zoo Weekly, FHM and Casaviva to name a few, launched a Thai language edition of the popular U.K. title Women and Home and also announced plans for three new magazines in the near future.
Wiluck Lohtong, CEO of the company, said two of the three would target the women's sector while the other would be a general lifestyle publication. He said: "Readers will buy if we offer good content that engages their minds."
I couldn't agree more. There are many exciting magazine brands from overseas that will do extremely well for Thai publishers that want to license them here.
