A TYPICAL THAI NEWS SHOP
Here is a picture depicting that way that the vast majority of Thai language newspapers and magazines are sold. Do not expect to find any English language titles in these kind of shops - which exist in even the smallest streets around Bangkok.
It's arguably also one of the reasons why there are only one of two titles that are published in Thailand that can conduct an independent circulation audit. Can you image the problems with supply and delivery notes for a place like this where they may only get five copies of a particular newspaper each day? It simply wouldn't be worth their time compiling the paperwork for what may about to literally 5 baht or less for each copy they sell.
This is Thailand and it's retail newspaper and magazine sales at its quaint best.
