AN ACCEPTABLE PRICE RISE?
From 210 baht to 300 baht in the space of six years - do you consider that to be an acceptable price rise?
While it's fair to say that most Thai magazines have shown very little in the way of price rises over the same time, The Economist has increased its cover price quite significantly.
I have to be fair any say that many other imported magazines have also seen steep price rises, but there does not appear to be any correlation between the original cover price in a magazine's home country versus what it sells for in Thailand.
There are some examples where you pay less in Thailand that you would in the U.K. or U.S., for example. but the majority are more expensive as you would expect.
