WHAT'S HAPPENED TO FASTER BOOKS?
Anyone who used Bangkok's skytrain system will be familiar with Faster Books, but mystery surrounds the future of the news sales outlet as all units appear to have closed.
This will be a significant blow for many publishers if the business has indeed closed - less so far English publishers as this was mainly a Thai language outlet.
Even if sales were not good the branding and awareness of having your magazine seen by hundreds of thousands of people every day was very valuable, although I know from experience that real estate inside BTS stations is expensive so if sales did not happen then business would have been hard.
If anyone knows, please leave a comment ...
