MORE ADVERTISING CHALLENGES
Traditional publisher in Thailand are facing challenges for
advertising dollars - from everywhere.
Take this example I snapped yesterday. Low-lost airline Air
Asia (with, I might add, a large ad budget) has chosen to advertise on the side
of one of Bangkok’s countless tuk-tuks. The monthly cost will be roughly the
same as a single page in one of Thailand’s most-popular magazines – but which do you
think will give more exposure and more value for money for Air Asia?
