NEW THAI/ENGLISH MAGAZINE
October sees the debut edition of Welcome Trip Magazine, which although the cover gives the impression of being a totally Thai magazine, does actually have some fairly interesting English translated features.
At just 32 pages the glossy magazine is fairly light on advertising. It retails for 60 baht - which is in my humble opinion is on the expensive side for a magazine of this extent. I also think that because of its confusing language identity it could struggle to find a dedicated readership - and consequently a decent pool of advertisers.
Another issue is that the website listed prominently on the cover is - dead. Not a good start.
