BLAME JEREMY CLARKSON

The October 2015 print edition of the Australian licensed motoring magazine Top Gear was the final one to be produced.
Top Gear, as many readers will know, has undergone what can only be described as turmoil during the last six months or so, and while the BBC television programme will continue with popular celebrity Chris Evans as the host, clearly the pulling power of the magazine brand overseas has disappeared along with the three previous hosts - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
After more than seven years this edition was the last - and perfectly it underlines how the licensed magazine industry is so reliant on the strength of its mother brand. Without it, the business and brand has disappeared - as happened here and also with the likes of FHM and Zoo which have announced they will ceased printing in the U.K. within the last month.
For the record , this edition was one to appear at my favourite Bangkok bookshop at Chatuchak weekend market - the place the many global magazines can only be found in Thailand.
Try asking for this edition in Asia Books and see what answer you get?
