BANGKOK BELLY

Yesterday (Wednesday) I sampled my first dose of 'Bangkok Belly'. It must have been something I ate or drank, but as to exactly what it was I have no idea. You don't need to know too much information, except that I feel drained today but otherwise okay.
It's the rainy season here in Thailand right now, and I guess Tuesday's particular afternoon storm must have been something expection as quite a few of the staff here in my office come over to the window (remember I am on the 25th floor) to marvel at this particular monster. It was quite dramatic - at one point the rain was so intense that you couldn't see the sparwling Bangkok city below. I think we can expect similar storms for the next month or so.
Back in the UK I was very nervous about thunderstorms but here they don't seem to bother me at all - I guess that's because they are so frequent and common.
