IT'S NOT A HOLIDAY - HONEST !

Updates for the rest of this week will depend on my ability to get near a computer. Regular readers will know I am off to Chiang Mai tomorrow morning for a four-day business trip - my first since I arrived in Thailand almost three months ago.
I love flying, and the flight tomorrow will be operated by a Bangkok Airways ATR-72 turboprop aircraft, similar to the one pictured here. I've been on this type before - they are identical to the ones used by Air Wales on their Swansea-Cardiff-London route when they were in existence.
The flight out tomorrow and back on Friday afternoon operates via a place called Sukhothai in northern Thailand, so I get an additional take-off and landing both ways - bonus!
Bangkok Airways has an amazing reputation. It has won awards for its service and I'm really looking forward to seeing it for myself. I'm also looking forward to staying at a brand new resort and spa complex too - that will be 'home' for the first two nights. With any luck I will be able to manage an update or two later this week - so keep checking back.
