ON A LIGHTER NOTE ....

... this will make you smile. Back on August 6th my Mum posted a birthday card to me. It arrived earlier this week after taking a minor detour - via Aruba in the Caribbean ! Obviously the card wanted to take a holiday and get some sun before embarking on its journey to Thailand, and the nice people in the Aruban postal service even stamped it to say it had been there.
I have no real clue why it was diverted - the address clearly stated Thailand, and my Mum actually sent two more cards shortly after that arrived within four days. It's just one of lifes mysteries I suppose. The picture (right) shows my card lapping up the sun on a beach in Aruba.
