A STORMY NIGHT

Yesterday evening produced one of the strongest and most spectacular storms that I have experienced in Bangkok. If you read the blog then you'll know my deep fear of storms, but last night I stood on the balcony and watched.
I played with various photography techniques to try and capture some of the dramatic lightning strikes. I am very pleased with this picture that I took with my relatively simple 'point-and-shoot' digital camera. For those who want some technical details, it was hand-held, 1/4 of a second at f2.8. There is a bit too much camera shake to make it a great picture, but I've managed to sharpen it a bit in Photoshop. Other than that, it's a totally unaltered image.
