BUSINESS TRIPS - THE DOWN SIDE

Of course business trips, of which this is one, do have their down sides too. First is the fact that I have mountains of emails to write when I get back to my desk tomorrow. When I checked my work emails yesterday (and again this morning) I counted 36 so far that need some kind of action. That's just in one day!
The other negative thing is that you see shops, for example, that you would really like to go into but cannot because you simply don't have the time. Now (6.45am) is about the first time I have not been doing something related to work - and in an hour or so that will be changing again when I get ready for the real reason I came to Singapore - a meeting with the two most important people in BusinessWeek's Asian sales and management hierarchy.
