ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

That's a phrase that typifies life in Bangkok, and can be show by what happened on Sunday morning.
I was waiting for Tanya to arrive when a Chinese Lion Dance troupe from the local school came along the road. The lion was paying homage at the temple, although I am not sure why or what occasion was being celebrated.
There was lots of drumming and, as you can see, the performers were doing everything they could to stop Tanya's taxi (behind the lion) passing. The word 'oblivious' springs to mind.
This was the picture I took from the steps of the entrance to my condo; note the young boy driving the motorcycle in the foreground!
