IN THE PAPERS
I'm in The Bangkok Post today. Last week I was interviewed about the new magazine and the result is an article in today's edition. I'm reasonably happy with it, although if I am honest I am being quoted saying things that I didn't actually say. I might have said similar things but certainly not in the way that I have been quoted. I'm not too bothered though as the whole essence of what we are trying to achieve has not been lost.
This article will add to my efforts to show what PR is all about. Thai PR is totally different and usually involves payment in one form of another - more like marketing in the UK and North American sense. However this article is a perfect example of the power of PR and illustrates that it doesn't have to cost a penny. By establishing good contacts and providing regular and informed comment on current issues we can get raise the profile of our company and the new magazine.
