A MENTION ON THE RADIO

The majority of this morning has been spent proof reading and editing a 261-page annual report for one of our sister companies - which sounds boring but is quite good experience as they are a Stock Exchange-listed company.
To make things a little less tedious I decided to listen to some UK radio stations over the internet. Magic and Heart don't allow listeners from overseas so I settled on Virgin, which is actually playing some really good music considering it's the middle of the night in the UK. Anyway, I emailed the studio and got a mention - and they're going to play my request of 'anything by Deacon Blue or Darren Hayes/Savage Garden' in the next 45 minutes.

UPDATE: The song played just before the 6am news on Virgin was one of my all-time Deacon Blue favourites, Dignity.
