ONE WEEK CLOSER TO LIFT OFF

This week has gone so quickly. I've never been in a job where time just seems to evaporate. Things are very busy, but at least I feel as though I am achieving something.
I was trying to explain the whole magazine launch process to one of my colleagues yesterday and I used the example of a jigsaw. Right now I have some of the pieces but I don't have enough to finish the whole picture. Every day more pieces are falling into place and we are one step closer to completing the puzzle.
This week so far (8am Friday morning) I have interviewed close to 20 people, been interviewed myself by The Bangkok Post, been to visit a printing company, finalised the cover price and subscription rates, discussed the advertising rates ... so much and all important steps in the process. It really is challenging but it's also a lot of fun.
