MORE RESPONSIBILTIES

We've been discussing ways to reorganise the management structure of our company, and yesterday my boss said he wants me to take full control of all editorial functions - not just the new magazine but our four existing titles as well. Essentially I will be Editorial Director - but with all my existing BW responsibilities too.
It's a challenge or sure, not least because of the language barrier. It's now vital that I have a good PA/Secretary as he or she will be my number two and break down those barriers for me. He or she will also help to organise me, because those who know me well will understand I am not best in that particular department. Anyway, it does show that my boss trusts me and values my experience. It's all great experience too, and will look wonderful on my resume!
