NOISY MONKS

There was a party last night close to my condo - actually it was too close and far too loud. I understand from Tanya that it was to celebrate the ordination of a monk which is due to take place today (Saturday) but it sounded more like a bad karaoke night on a Club 18-30 trip to Ibiza.
Given the fact it was within the compounds of the temple it's not really the done thing to ask them to keep the noise down, so I just popped a couple of sleeping tablets and eventually got to sleep at 11pm. God knows what time they stopped, but I can assure you that none were even remotely good enough to feature on Pop Idol.
