YOUTUBE - STILL BLOCKED

The story may have disappeared from the front pages but YouTube is still blocked in Thailand. One of the newspapers here reported yesterday that only five websites have been blocked in the last 10 months, although other sources claim as many as 40,000 are restricted in some way. The Minister in charge was quoted as saying that he rarely checks his emails and only visits two websites - one of which is the PGA (golf) site. He also said he finds the internet 'uninteresting'.
I'll not comment on this - I think the good Minister has said everything you need to know.
