ASIA MEDIA IS TOP

Did you know that nine of the world's top ten best-selling newspapers come from Asia? That came as a bit of a surprise to me. But did you also know that all the top five are from one country? Japan.
In total more than 75 per cent of the top 100 (by sales) originate from Asia. Thailand's top-selling daily (with an unaudited circulation of around 1.2 million sales per day) is Thai Rath. That ranks in the mid-30s globally.
