DO THEY WANT OUR MONEY ?

Yet another example of lack of business ambition and understanding among Thai companies. Around three weeks ago I sent a dozen or so emails to website design companies, giving details of a project we wanted a quote for and a basic site map. The email was in English, but I selected all the companies purely because they had an English section on their website.
To date just two of the twelve have responded, and it looks like we'll be working with one of them. It's sad that ten companies, possibly better than the one we have selected, have missed out on the chance to work with a global brand, not to mention a reasonably big budget.
I guess this might be down to their lack of English, but if that really is the reason then it says rather a lot about the standard of education in Thai society.
