THUMBS DOWN FOR THAI AIRWAYS

Food is top of a list of Thai Airways passengers' complaints, according to a report in The Bangkok Post yesterday. Other gripes (in order) were poor in-flight entertainment, attitude and performance of cabin crew, baggage handling on arrival and malfunctions in cabin equipment.
Thai is one of the few airlines (on the London-Bangkok route) that does not currently offer seat-back entertainment, and on an 11-hour flight that does make a real difference. My experience of the food way okay but far from memorable, likewise with the cabin staff.
There must be at least a dozen ways to get to London, and on my list Thai would not feature in the top six preferences.
