A FEW TOO MANY DIGITS

During a routine call to check the balance on one of my credit cards I got the shock of my life. It's the kind of story you might read about occasionally in the media but never dream of it happening to you.
Firstly, this is an automated service with an annoying American-sounding female voice. I don't have any documentary proof of what I am telling you - but then again it's just too ridiculous to make up.
According to this automated service my 'available to spend' amount is 1,566,700 baht (or 25,000 quid in UK money). Sounds good? Yeah, until you hear the next part which says my current outstanding balance is currently 20,388,049 baht, or more than 315,000 quid !!!
I don't know why, but I have a sneaky feeling that something might be a little wrong here. I would guess that the automated bank clerk might have had one too many Singha's (beers) - either that or the decimal points are screwed.
Of course the other reason could be that I've miraculously been given a credit limit equal to at least 20 years' salary and spent most of it in the space of 24 hours. Even in Thailand I think that's impossible.
I'm half tempted to try and withdraw some of my 'available to spend' cash and see what happens. Do you think I should ?

No. Definitely not. When the error is discovered, it will just come and bite you later. :)

Hope you are able to get it worked out. What a mess!
