TAXI TROUBLES

We had rain this morning, not a monsoon but enough to cause chaos to what is normally a routine journey to the office.
Just 15 minutes before the time the taxi normally arrives we got a call to say none would be available. Great! So much for loyalty, and so much for the fact we have had a regular booking for the same trip for the past six months.
Even the condo couldn't get one for us, so it means a walk to the end of the street - which wasn't quite as bad as it sounds because it had pretty much stopped raining by this time. Getting a taxi from these was easier, although the first two we asked weren't interested in taking us. Third time lucky.
