A CHAT WITH GRAHAM

I had the pleasure of interviewing Graham Poll yesterday morning. Graham was England's top referee until his retirement in May, and he is most famous (sadly) for sending issuing three yellow cards to the same player during the 2006 World Cup.
Last month he released a book called Seeing Red about his 27 years in football, which is one of the reasons he spent a few days in Thailand. The other reason is that he's bought a property at Peregrina Bay on Koh Samui.
I first came across Graham when he was refereeing my home town team Wokingham Town, and it came as a surprise that his book mentions an incident in one of their games.
I spent a great hour chatting to him and the guys from Peregrina Bay in the morning, and in the evening I had an invite to a British Chamber of Commerce dinner where Graham was the guest speaker. He's got some great stories to tell, as you can imagine, and I'd really recommend Seeing Red to anyone interested in football.
