IS IT STILL SEPTEMBER?

While shopping this afternoon at Siam Paragon, one of Bangkok's top shopping malls, it was a little surprising to hear 'Oh you'd better watch out, you'd better not cry.....'
I think I shall send an email to the management reminding them that Santa Claus isn't due to come to town for another three months!
That's the second Christmas song I've heard in two weeks, and for a predominantly Buddhist country this has to be some kind of record.

Last year - my first Christmas in Bangkok - didn't feel at all festive until about two days before December 25th. This year I've already heard two Christmas songs and seen adverts for a couple of Christmas-related events. It's going from one extreme to the other.
