HEADLINE OF THE YEAR, SO FAR

A serious story from The Bangkok Post with a bizarre headline about an alleged paedophile who is facing charges in Thailand. You may recall the story. He's the Canadian man who electronically manipulated his picture in the form or a swirling pattern, and that image was subsequently deciphered by technology experts. The headline on this story reads:

"SWIRLY-FACED SUSPECT DENIES PAEDOPHILE CHARGES"

For me this headline conjures up images of this guy entering court, his face still contorted in the swirling pattern that appeared in much of the press a few months back. Would this headline be allowed in the UK or US for example, especially as the suspect is denying the charges in this case? Amazing Thailand.
