IN SHOCK

I'm feeling a bit sick right now. On the way back to the office there was an accident between a dump truck and at least one person. It wasn't clear exactly what had happened from the back seat of my taxi until we got closer and I saw a foot and leg sticking out from under one of the huge wheels.
The police seemed more concerned about keeping the traffic flowing than moving on the literally hundreds of people that had gathered at the scene, but I guess there wasn't much they could do for the victim.
Thailand's roads are a dangerous place but this is the first time in 19 months that I've actually seen it with my own eyes.
