HELLO HELLO!

The Thai edition of Hello! has started to include a small English translation supplement of its Thai stories inside the magazine. As far as I am aware this is a media first for the Thai magazine industry.
I'm really not sure what to make of this development. The English edition is available here and surely anyone who is going to pick up the Thai edition (apart from me because I'm crazy and magazines are my life) is going to be able to read Thai? The English in some places doesn't exactly flow but it's understandable and that's what matters.
I don't think I would go down the route of having an English translation of the Thai stories in our own licensed magazine, but I will keep an eye on what Hello! is doing and see if it works well for them.
