DESTINATION DUBAI

For the second year running I am escaping the excesses of Songkran. Next week I will be going to Dubai for a two-day conference. I've never found my way outside the airport in Dubai so it's really another new country for me.
The conference will be an excellent networking and promotional event for my company and for our magazine. I'll get to interview and run shoulders with some of Asia's leading business minds and leaders. I'll be interviewing several and learning lots from others. I'm really looking forward to it.
Sadly it means I am working while everyone else has three days off but I guess that's what comes with being in my position. I shouldn't complain. I have the best job in the world.
