BANGKOK AIRPORT RAIL LINK

Here is another view from the 34th floor taken yesterday, this time showing the city end of Bangkok's airport rail link. The structure to the top left is the Makkasan city terminal and, as you can see, it's isolated from the remainder of the route (bottom right) at the moment.
A few weeks ago there were stories in the press that contractors wanted another year to complete the 28km link. Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport has been open since late September 2006 and the rail link was originally planned to open more than one year ago.
