BILLBOARDS IN THAILAND

Billboards are everywhere in Bangkok. They're a popular but expensive form of advertising, and I've personally never been sure whether they work as well as other media. It's not that easy to measure how much value you get as an advertiser.
A billboard in a prime site in central Bangkok could easily set you back up to a million baht per month or more. You've also got the one-off production costs to think of, and a three month campaign using one of the larger billboards could cost the advertiser up to five million baht without too much trouble.

For the billboard owners I can see this as a very easy and lucrative income. There are little ongoing costs but the revenue can be exceptional. For advertisers it can help brand awareness but I'm not convinced whether you would get full return on your advertising investment.
