IT'S ALL ABOUT THE COVER
My occasional look at some of the more unusual Thai language magazines continues with a focus on Pet Highlights Magazine, or 'colour of pets' if you directly translate the Thai title.
This magazine is unusual for the fact that there's no headline or indication of what's inside other than the cover picture. Normally you would have at least an idea of what stories or features are inside. The only other furniture on the cover, besides the price (70 baht), barcode and ISSN number is the gmail and yahoo contact email addresses.
Once again this is a well-advertised publication. In common with many Thai magazines there's a mix of paper used inside. Around 10 per cent is glossy and the rest is lower-quality standard paper. It's a cheaper option for publishers than having a totally glossy title.

Actually, "seusan satliang" is closer to "communication animal raising" if translated directly. "Pet Communications" would be a more accurate title, but "Pet Highlights" is probably less combative to the English speakers ear.
So, I read it wrong...It is Siisan, which is color.
David. No worries and thanks for adding to this subject. I do not read (or even speak more than basis) Thai myself so I take advice always.
