MAKE IT EASY TO SUBSCRIBE

With all the subscription promotions (I think it's getting to the point of being annoying) coming out of Nation Towers right now you would think they would have embraced the world of e-commerce by now?
This week I tried, and failed, to subscribe online to The Nation. It's simply not possible, and in my experience you must make the whole subscription process as pain-free and simple as possible.
We've developed online subscriptions and payment for the magazine I am responsible for and it's not too difficult to master. It paid for itself within the first two or three months so cost isn't really an issue.
There are other issues such as a relative distrust of e-commerce in the part of the world, not to mention the preference amongst many Thai readers to pay for things month by month and not a year or more in advance.
I wonder whether online payment for subscriptions is in the business plan for The Nation?
