MAXIM SINGAPORE CEASES PUBLICATION

The December edition of Maxim Singapore, the local licensed edition of the popular men's magazine, will be it's last. Falling circulation and borderline profitability are behind the decision, according to publisher SPH Magazines' chief executive Loh Yew Seng.
Maxim was launched in Singapore in October 2004 and was reported to have a readership of 23,000 per month. It's widely recognised as the number one selling men's magazine in the world.
The brand is licensed from Dennis Publishing in the UK and local language editions are published in more than 30 countries around the world.
Maxim Thailand is published by entertainment giant GMM Grammy, publishers of Madame Figaro and Her World. The decision to close the Singapore edition will have no impact on the Thai edition or others around the world.

Hmm, lots of skin in these two latest posts Andrew-san!

I'll have to tune in more regularly.

Seriously, that Maxim cover girl could pass as a man if you cover her below the neck. No wonder Maxim Singapore ceases publication.

Or perhaps we're just spoiled over here.
