FROM THE U.S. TO BANGKOK, VIA TAIWAN

I am forever writing about the weird and wonderful magazines that arrive at Bangkok's best magazine shop at Chatuchak Weekend Market.
The U.S. edition of InStyle magazine is not an especially rare sight in Thailand as it's sold in most of the main English language bookshops for around THB 500, but what makes this copy interesting is its journey - from America to Bangkok via Taiwan - as evidenced by the price sticker on the front cover.
This actually equates to THB 450 thereabouts, so to pick up this current edition for less than a quarter of what you'd pay at Asia Books or Kinokuniya is a bargain for a magazine junkie like me.
