WORLD CUP HANGOVERS

I think the World Cup has finally taken off it Thailand. Because of the time difference (six hours ahead of the UK) your evening matches don't finish until close to 4am here - or even later if it goes to extra time and penalties. The traffic on the way to work this morning was much lighter than normal - I reckon about 35-50 per cent less - and the taxi driver said it was because a lot of people had stayed up to watch the Spain versus France match. I have to agree that, on paper at least, it had the potential to be the best match of the tournament, and it seems like I was not alone in thinking that. I didn't stay up myself though - had to be awake at 6am to get ready to leave for work.

Not a footie fan but ocassionally watch great teams play, I must say it's a match worth watching. Certainly was great goal by Zidane before his retirement. It was an awesome match!!!
