MONKS MUST GET SICK OFTEN

This box of household medicines is something that is available at every supermarket for the purpose of donating to monks.
Every day monks are on the streets collecting alms, and at places like Tesco and Carrefour you can buy gifts specifically for that purpose. This box was around 50 baht (70p) and contains a variety of lotions and potions to aid a sickly monk back to health.
Most people give food or money every morning so I guess it must make a change for the monks to get something different. Anyway, I have this box in my cupboard incase any wandering monks happen pass by my door.
