PUBLIC SPEAKING
A while ago I was asked whether I would share my experiences of the magazine licensing process at a conference in Beijing, China, in the middle of May. I declined because of the timing being so close to the launch of the new magazine.
Since then I have been asked twice more, and I must admit the thought of talking in front of 2,000+ of the most important people in global magazine publishing isn't as scary as it was when the idea was first suggested. Actually I have even thought about the structure of what I would say, and I honestly believe that I can add to delegates knowledge about what it's like for smaller publishers licensing their first international title.
I'll keep you informed on whether I can magazine to sneak over to China for a few days in May.
