BACK TO SCHOOL, BACK TO CHAOS

Schools in Bangkok have reopened this morning after what seems like an especially long break. With that comes the school run traffic - which is probably twice or three times the amount on a non-school day.
Bangkok is certainly not unique in that respect. The school run in Wokingham - my old home - doubled or even tripled the average morning commute time. Even at 6.15am the kids are being dropped off at school by their parents in very large numbers. At least in the UK the rush didn't start until a more civilised time.
