HIDDEN TALENTS

I can't help but feel a little pleased with myself today.
I've been on four sales calls so far, selling the benefits of advertising within our new magazine. My sales colleagues generally only take me along when they are dealing with a native English decision maker, which obviously makes things much easier for me.
Yesterday evening I was told that my efforts have secured one very good sale, which is obviously very pleasing. My work doesn't stop there though as the deal involves an advertorial feature which I will be compiling over the course of the next week or so.
I mentioned to my boss about my commission for this deal - he laughed.
