BANGKOK IN THE DARK

Bangkok went dark for 15 minutes last night as part of a campaign to raise awareness on climate change issues. Although I had left the office I did ask my staff to make sure any unnecessary lights in our office were switched off at 7pm for quarter of an hour.
Reading the reports this morning it does seem as though many people were unaware of what was happening. This was only planned last week and next time, if there is a next time, then I am sure more advance warning would result in more widespread acceptance of what is happening.
